November 2008 - "What Are You Made Of" Awards
Tag Heuer and Glamour magazine joined forces to celebrate women who are making a positive impact in their communities. Jenny Hwa was selected as one of 5 winners who were celebrated at a breakfast hosted by Uma Thurman at Per Se in New York.
September 2008 - Eileen Fisher Grant
Each year Eileen Fisher selects 5 women entrepreneurs who are embracing innovation, social consciousness and sustainability to receive guidance and funding for their respective projects. Jenny Hwa was selected as one of the 5 women business owners out of the 200 women that applied.
June 2008 - Women Rule! Leadership seminar participant
Jenny Hwa was selected for one of the 80 slots to participate in the White House Project's and O Magazine's Women Rule! Leadership Training Program. More than 3,500 women applied for this national competition and Jenny was chosen based on her demonstrated and innovative environmental leadership.
June 2008 - ‘Pay It Fashion Forward' Award hosted by Fashion Delivers
Jenny Hwa was one of three honorees for the ‘Pay It Fashion Forward' Awards. She was selected based on her work with sustainable fashion and donation of time and funding to Green Corps. This honor was decided by a panel of editors from Glamour, Lucky, InStyle and DailyCandy.
April 2005 - ‘Outstanding Sustainable Style Award'
Jenny Hwa was selected by Angela Lindvall to win this award for her launch collection of loyale and was celebrated in Los Angeles at the LOHAS (Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability) conference.
